My son is at Ft. Benning. All I got out of the quick phone call is that he is in Bravo Co. 229. How do I find the rest of the address and roster number to send him mail?
My husband just arrived at Ft Benning as well. I received an email before he left stating i would get a letter from the commander and that will state all of his unit information, hopefully within the next week or two. I also got a call from my husband yesterday with all of his info but he spoke so fast I’m not sure I even wrote everything down correctly 🙁
I hope I get something in the mail too.
I have someone I am very close with at Fort Benning GA and I don’t know anything except for his name and the address to send it to. (Roster Number X Co., X-XX Inf. Regt.) I was not told any of this before he left. How would I find this out if I’m not his next of kin?
My son Caleb E Blackwelder arrived at ft benning on 11-3-2020 I do not know his battalion or roster number could you please send me this information so I can write him on sandboxx?
I am frustrated because I do not know my fiance battalion and roster number. I was so excited to find this site and app to help me write letters to him. Though now I feel like I got to wait for his letter to even get a clue of any info before I can start writing. I just want to give him all my support. I need some type of answers I am new to all this army stuff.
I am going through the same thing! I received a call the first night of camp but he did not provide address, unit number or anything. It has been a week since then. I have not received any letters. I wouldn’t want to send something and embarrass him. Friends and family told me to trust the process and hope I receive another call with info or wait for a letter. My fiancé is at Fort Leonardworth and arrived on 11/17/20.
My son also arrived on 11/17. I received one call that kept dropping. My husband is serving for his army info. I we find his platoon, unit # etc, I’ll post it for you.
How can I get the right Address for Fort Jackson SC? And what if I don’t know the BATTALION?
I don’t know the Batallion or Battery that my son is in in Ft.Sill. How can I find that information?
My wife was given a minute to text and call after in processing, shes at Sill now, and during that time she gave me the information I needed. If your son is unable to text or call you with that info, either wait for a letter from him in the mail and use the return address or maybe see if his recruiting office has access to that information.
Thank you, he was able to call and text me the info!! 🙂
My husband is in basic in fort Jackson. I’ve sent so many letters to him but in the letters he sent me. He says he hasnt received one yet, it should have got to him by now. I finally started getting his letters on aug 22nd but they were sent to me on sept 18th. I honestly don’t know how long it takes for my mail to get to him. Today is oct 2nd and I haven’t seen a letter say “hey babe I got your letters”
To help his spirit, to help his peace of mind. He went from 2nd platoon to 3rd. I’m just worry that my letters may have gotten lost….
How many days does it take for them to receive the letters?
How do I find out his battalion and roster number of he doesn’t have phone access?
We don’t know his address at Ft Jackson SC. How can we get it if he don’t send it?
My grandson Jaxon Wallis is at Fort Sill for basic training (boot camp)no one (his mother or me) has heard from him since the phone call on 7/23 to say he arrived safe. Tried to sign up on sandboxx to write to him but can’t get past confirmation,l don’t know his platoon or anything cause we haven’t received any communication since that phone call.
My son called at 3:30am with his unit but spoke so fast and hung up so fast I couldn’t catch it. He’s at Ft Benning, how can I get his contact info?
My stepson headed to Benning for basic end of June, but his unit is in Covid-19 quarantine, so basic hasn’t started yet. Can I send him a letter if I don’t know his division or unit number? Thank you.
