Americans everywhere are preparing for a long weekend in observance of Presidents Day, and mail clerks around the force are no exception. Below is the Sandboxx print schedule that may impact the delivery of your letter, as well as the base mailroom closures.
Note: this schedule is subject to change, but is based on the latest information that has been provided to us by the mailrooms on base.

Army Base Mailroom Closures
Fort Jackson, Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Benning and Fort Sill will be closed Friday, February 13th and Monday, February 16th. The last day to submit your letter for delivery before the holiday is Wednesday, February 11th by 5PM EST.

Marine Corps mailrooms will resume on Tuessday, February 18th.

Letters sent after 4:30PM EST on February 13th will be printed and shipped on February 17th for delivery on February 18th.
Navy Base Mailroom Closures
Navy basic training mailrooms will be closed Monday, February 16th. The mail rooms at these installations will resume their normal duties on Tuesday, February 17th.
