Martin Luther King Jr. Day Base Mailroom Closures

The first base mailroom closure of the year is here. With Martin Luther King Jr. Day around the corner, we wanted to inform you of the military base mailroom closures, as well as the Sandboxx print schedule that may impact the delivery of your letter. Below you’ll find the MLK Jr. Day Print Room Schedule.

Note: this schedule is subject to change, but is based on the latest information that has been provided to us by the mailrooms on base. 

Sandboxx MLK Day Printing Schedule

• Deadline for Army and USMC before the holiday: Wednesday, 1/14  – Final Print at 5 pm ET. Mail submitted after will be shipped for delivery on Tuesday, 1/20.
• Deadline for all other military bases: Thursday, 1/15 – Final Print at 5 pm ET. Mail submitted after to be shipped for delivery on Tuesday, 1/20
• Sandboxx Mailroom closed: Monday, 1/19 – All mail submitted from Friday, 1/16 at 4:30 pm ET through Monday, 1/19 will be printed and shipped for delivery on Wednesday, 1/21.

Army Base Mailroom Closures

All mail submitted after 5 pm ET on Wednesday, 1/14, will be shipped for delivery on Tuesday, 1/20 for Army.

Marine Corps Base Mailroom Closures

All mail submitted after 5 pm ET on Wednesday, 1/14 for will be shipped for delivery on Tuesday, 1/20.

Air Force Base Mailroom Closures

All mail submitted after 5 pm ET on Thursday, 1/15, will be shipped for delivery on Tuesday, 1/20.

Navy Base Mailroom Closures

All mail submitted after 5 pm ET on Thursday, 1/15, will be shipped for delivery on Tuesday, 1/20.

Coast Guard Base Mailroom Closures

All mail submitted after 5 pm ET on Thursday, 1/15, will be shipped for delivery on Tuesday, 1/20.
