As we head into the Memorial Day weekend we have information about when your loved one’s basic training mailroom will be closed for the holiday, so that you can make sure to get your letters to your recruit before the long weekend. The dates below are subject to change depending on the needs of the Command. Additionally, our print room will be closed on Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day.

Army Basic Training
If you are sending letters to an Army basic training mailroom, the last day to send your letter before the Memorial Day weekend is Wednesday, May 24 at 4:30 pm ET.
Letters that are sent Thursday, May 25 by 4:30 pm ET will arrive for delivery on Tuesday, May 30.
Letters that are sent after 4:30 pm ET on Thursday, May 26 through Tuesday, May 30 will not be delivered until Wednesday, May 31.
Marine Corps Basic Training
If you are sending letters to San Diego, Pendleton or Quantico, the last day to send your letter before the Memorial Day weekend is Thursday, May 25 at 4:30 pm ET.
Letters that are sent by Friday, May 26 at 4:30 pm ET will arrive for delivery on Wednesday, May 31.
Letters that are sent after 4:30 pm ET on Friday, May 26 through Tuesday, May 30 will be delivered Wednesday, May 31.
If you are sending letters to Parris Island, the last day to send your letter before the Memorial Day weekend is Wednesday, May 24 at 4:30 pm ET.
Letters that are sent by Friday, May 26 at 4:30 pm ET will arrive for delivery on Tuesday, May 30.
Letters that are sent after 4:30 pm ET on Friday, May 26 through Tuesday, May 30 will not be delivered until Wednesday, May 31.
Navy Basic Training
If you are sending letters to a Navy boot camp mailroom, the last day to send your letter before the Memorial Day weekend is Thursday, May 25 at 4:30 pm ET.
Letters that are sent by Friday, May 26 at 4:30 pm ET will arrive for delivery on Tuesday, May 30.
Letters that are sent after 4:30 pm ET on Friday, May 26 through Tuesday, May 30 will not be delivered until Wednesday, May 31.
Air Force and Space Force Basic Training
If you are sending letters to an Air Force or Space Force boot camp mailroom, the last day to send your letter before the Memorial Day weekend is Thursday, May 25 at 4:30 pm ET.
Letters that are sent by Friday, May 26 at 4:30 pm ET will arrive for delivery on Tuesday, May 30.

Coast Guard Basic Training
If you are sending letters to a Coast Guard boot camp mailroom, the last day to send your letter before the Memorial Day weekend is Thursday, May 25 at 4:30 pm ET.
