Sandboxx News is thrilled to announce that our editor-in-chief, Alex Hollings, has been nominated for five separate awards from the 2023 Defence Media Awards. The nominations recognize his outstanding contributions to defense journalism, covering a breadth of topics ranging from aviation technology to new practices in basic training.

Four of Hollings’ nominations come for his written work published on Sandboxx News, while the fifth is for his video content published on Sandboxx’s YouTube channel – marking the first such nomination for Sandboxx’s web series, Airpower with Alex Hollings.
