Marine Corps Structure

The week starts with an intensive session of MCMAP training designed to enhance physical fitness, discipline, and combat skills. Following this, Marines will participate in an engaging organizational leadership class led by the commanding officer of TBS, offering valuable insights into effective leadership strategies, team management, and decision-making within the Corps. This combination of physical and professional development sets the tone for a productive and enriching week.

Outside Agencies

Next, Marines attend informative classes led by key nonprofit organizations, including Navy Mutual Aid, the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, and the US Naval Institute. These sessions provide valuable insights into the resources and support available to Marines and their families. Navy Mutual Aid offers financial services and guidance tailored to military members, ensuring financial security. The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides educational scholarships to children of Marines, promoting academic success. Lastly, the US Naval Institute serves as a hub for professional development and knowledge-sharing, fostering intellectual growth within the naval community.

Commanders Time

Marines will wrap up the week with a comprehensive Manpower Engagement session designed to provide critical information and resources related to career management, assignments, and personal development opportunities within the Marine Corps. Following this, they will have dedicated time with their company commander, offering an invaluable opportunity for personalized mentorship, professional guidance, and discussions about their growth and future roles as Marine leaders.
