Meet Krista Blake! She has been with Sandboxx since April 2022 as a Customer Happiness Associate. She is a mom, brand new Milspouse and is responsible for answering your questions about Sandboxx. Learn more about Krista’s experience working at Sandboxx and how she accidentally found her dream job.
What first attracted you to work at Sandboxx?
Searching for flights and a hotel for my husband’s graduation from the Navy is what led me to Sandboxx. I had never heard of Sandboxx before and I was so curious, so I signed up and started using it to send letters to my husband (he was also in awe of it). As an added bonus while I was doing my research, I saw they were hiring. I knew I had to jump on the opportunity because it was just too good to be true.
What is something unique about your team?
The CH team is a tight-knit group and we have each other’s back. We all have something to offer from our different paths of life and learning from each other everyday is the beauty of our team.
What is something you’re proud of that you’ve achieved at Sandboxx?
I am proud to provide support that is needed to the families during their military journey with their loved one. Coming from a family with a military background, plus my husband starting his military path, I know first hand how important it is to stay connected with them and to provide the encouragement that is needed during basic training and beyond.
As a Milspouse, what does Sandboxx’s mission of connecting our military community mean to you?
Sandboxx’s mission means the world to me! “Do good by doing good” is used around Sandboxx a lot and I take that to heart. Helping out my fellow military families is a wonderful and rewarding bonus to all that Sandboxx has to offer. Having steady employment as a Milspouse that will travel with me every time the Navy needs us to move was what I needed.
