Here at Sandboxx, we understand there is a lot of concern regarding the COVID-19 outbreak and the impact that it is having on the deliverability of your letters to your recruit at basic training. While letter operations at Sandboxx are continuing as normal, we are experiencing shipping delays to the base mailrooms. Here’s what you need to know.
How does my Sandboxx letter get to base?
Your letter is printed at our office located in Arlington, Virginia. Once our team gets your letter printed it gets sorted, then packaged, and awaits pickup from our delivery provider.
Who does Sandboxx use to send letters?
We use Fedex to ship out all letters sent to basic training locations across the country. Letters are sent via Fedex with overnight delivery to ensure it gets into your recruit’s hands as quickly as possible.
My letter has been delayed, what does that mean?
Due to COVID-19, companies across the country are experiencing mail carrier delays. Due to the extremely high volumes and increased safety measures for COVID, FedEx needs more time to deliver our packages to base. Most deliveries will remain on time but there is a possibility for your letter to get delayed a day or two.
How can I find out when my letter will be delivered?
You can track the status of your letter within the Sandboxx app. Your tracking ID will provide you with live updates, this is the best way to monitor when your letter will arrive on base.
For more questions on the status of your letter, please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team at happiness@sandboxx.us or message us within the Sandboxx app.
